Sarangkot Hiking

Trip Introduction

Sarangkot is a well-known hiking and hill station in Pokhara. It is located at an elevation of 1,610m/5282ft northwest of Pokhara valley. It is very well for its sunrise and sunset views. It is also a famous paragliding destination. You can see the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu ranges, as well as Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). You’ll also enjoy the trail’s green hills, rice terraces, and beautiful Pokhara.

You will drive to Kaharaya, the hike’s starting point. A 15–30minute drive is required. You will climb uphill toward the Sarangkot once you arrive at Kaharaya. You will have an incredible view of the mountains and the Pokhara valley. The trail is filled with traditional houses and people’s rural lifestyles. You’ll also be walking through the woods. Once at the top, enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and the Phewa Lake while eating a delicious lunch. Descend to Pokhara.
