Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha is the most popular Buddhist holy site. It is located in the Rupandehi district, Nepal. Mayadevi temple- Gautam Buddha’s birthplace, Pushkharni Pool also known as Mayadevi Pond, Ashoka Pillar, World Peace Pagoda, Tilaurikot- the capital city of Sakya kingdom ruled by Prince Siddhartha Gautam in ancient time, Various Buddhist monasteries built by various countries are the main attraction of Lumbini.
