Nepal, nestled in the heart of the Himalayas, is a sacred haven for spiritual seekers as well as a land of  breathtaking natural beauty. Buddhism holds a special place in the country’s diverse tapestry of cultural and religious traditions, and the country is adorned with numerous sites of immense significance for Buddhists all over the world.  This Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour is a life-changing experience that takes participants on a deep exploration of ancient monasteries, sacred stupas, and revered meditation sites, revealing the rich tapestry of Buddhist history and heritage.

Our journey commence at the vibrant city of Kathmandu. Visit the famous pilgrimage sites of Buddhism including Boudhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa. Learn more about these UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. Capture the scenic beauty of the stupas and of Kathmandu Valley from the hills of Swayambhunath along with the bustling streets of Boudhanath.

Engage yourself in the Buddhist’s rituals and meditation at Pharping Gumba and Kapan Gumba. The natural settings and peaceful environment of the monasteries makes you feel relaxed and makes your meditation at its peak. Interact with the gurus and monks and learn more about Buddhist’s profound teachings.

Our journey then takes you to the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, the enlightened one, in the sacred town of Lumbini. We will explore the Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, Lumbini Garden and World Peace Pagoda soaking in the spiritual energy that radiates from this revered site.

Lastly, our sacred journey concludes in Namobuddha, a well known place carrying the historical significance of Buddhism. The main attraction is the Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, which is believed to be built on the spot where, according to Buddhist legend, Prince Mahasattva sacrificed his own body to feed a hungry tigress and her cubs. This selfless act symbolizes the ultimate compassion and generosity in Buddhism.

Day 1

Our representative will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and take you to your hotel. Check-in to the hotel and have rest. In the evening, visit Pashupatinath Temple, a famous Hindu pilgrimage site, for evening aarati. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Post breakfast, proceed to Swyambhunath Stupa and explore the stupa and its surroundings. Observe the scenic beauty of the Kathmandu Valley from there. You can interact with the local monks and do one hour meditation with them.

Leaving Swayambhunath Stupa, make your way to Boudhanath Stupa. Upon reaching there, explore the stupa and the markets over there. You can buy different articrafts, handicrafts and thanka paintings. Envolve in one-hour sound healing therapy nearby stupa. The vibration of sound cleanses your energy and make you feel relaxed. Overnight is in Kathmandu.

Day 3

Post breakfast, drive to Pharping Gumba from your hotel. Upon reaching there, check-in to the monastery and take rest. Following a short rest, engage yourself on Buddhist’s profound teaching and rituals. In the evening, meditate with the monks and the gurus. Overnight is at Pharping Gumba

Day 4

In the early morning, engage on guided meditation and yoga sessions led by the gurus. In the day time, explore the surroundings hills and observe the scenic beauty of the natural settings. In the evening, perform Buddhist’s rituals at the monastery. Overnight is at Pharping Gumba.

Day 5

Post breakfast, drive to Kapan Gumba from Pharping Gumba. Upon arrival, check-in to the monastery and take a rest. Following the rest, join your  3 days course at Kapan Gumba. Engage fully yourself on meditation courses, yoga classes and spiritual healing. Overnight is at Kapan Gumba

Day 6

In the early morning, join yoga classes and meditation with the gurus and monks. As the day unfolds, explore the surroundings and observe a scenic beauty of Kathmandu Valley from the hill. In the evening, perform Buddhist’s rituals with the monks and gurus. Overnight is at Kapan Gumba.

Day 7

Today is the final day of course. Engage yourself fully on your course and interact with the monks and the gurus. Learn more about the cultures, traditions and rituals that have been practiced in Nepal. Overnight is at Kapan Gumba.

Day 8

Post breakfast, depart for Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, located in the Rupandehi District. The journey takes you through scenic landscapes and rural villages. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and take rest. In the evening, hang around the vibrant streets  of Lumbini and enjoy local street foods. Overnight is in Lumbini.

Day 9

In the early morning, engage in meditation and Buddhist ritual practices in the sacred Lumbini Garden. Post breakfast, visit Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka pillar and monasteries built by various Buddhist countries, each showcasing unique architectural styles and cultural nuances. The peaceful ambiance of Lumbini provides an ideal setting for meditation and reflection. In the evening, visit World Peace Pagoda to enjoy mesmerizing sunset view. Overnight is in Lumbini.

Day 10

Post breakfast, take a scenic drive from Lumbini to Namobuddha. The road trip begins in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, and spans approximately 300 kilometers, offering travelers a kaleidoscope of views ranging from lush greenery to rustic villages. The pilgrimage route takes adventurers through winding roads that cut through rolling hills and picturesque valleys, creating an enthralling backdrop. The terrain becomes more mountainous as you approach Namobuddha, and the air is filled with a serene tranquility. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and take rest. In the evening, perform Buddhist’s rituals with the gurus and the monks. Overnight is in Namobuddha.

Day 11

The day begins with guided meditation sessions led by experienced practitioners. During day time, visit  ancient monasteries and stupas dotting the landscape, each of which tells a story of Buddhist history and culture. Namobuddha’s tranquility provides an ideal setting for introspection and inner peace. Individuals delve into the depths of their consciousness, finding solace in the teachings of Buddha, amidst the prayer flags fluttering in the Himalayan breeze. Overnight is in Namobuddha.

Day 12

Post breakfast, drive from Namobuddha to Kathmandu. Then drive to Tribhuwan International Airport for final departure.
