Trip Introduction
Amitabha Monastery is also known as Seto Gumba or White Gumba in Nepali. It is located in the Kathmandu Valley’s southern region. It is situated in Nagarjun Municipality on the top of Druk Amitabha Mountain, overlooking Kathmandu Valley. It is placed at an elevation of 1,500m/4,921ft. It is a Tibetan Monastery rich in culture and arts. You can relax in the peaceful surroundings of the Monastery. Mountains such as Gaurishanker, Langtang, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and many others can be seen from here. It’s also well-known for its sunrise and sunset views.
The Monastery Practice spirituality for humanitarian purposes. You will drive to Swayambhu, the starting point of the hike. It takes about 20 minutes to get there. You’ll start your hike. The trail follows a road until we reach the Buddhist Monastery, after which we will walk on the narrow path. On the way, we’ll enjoy the secrecy. You’ll eat lunch while admiring the scenery and then descend.

After breakfast, our representative will meet you in the lobby and drive you to Swayambhu, which is about 20 minutes from Thamel. After arriving at Swayambhu, get ready for the hike. You will walk along a road until you reach a Buddhist monastery. You will then walk on a narrow path until you reach a Monastery. After 3 to 4 hours of walking, you will arrive at the top, where you can take in the breathtaking views of the mountains and Kathmandu Valley. You will eat lunch while taking in the breathtaking views. Descend, then return to hotel.
