Day To Day Itinerary

Day 1

On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo. Our representative will meet you there, take you to the hotel, and assist you with the check-in procedure. Depending on your flight time we will customize this day’s activities.

Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, you should check out, and our representative will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Kandy. The drive to Kandy takes about 4-5 hours. On the way, stop at Sigiriya and climb the world-famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It is an ancient 200m tall rock fortress. Continue driving toward Kandy.

Upon arrival in Sri Lanka’s cultural capital-Kandy, Check-in at the hotel, eat your lunch, and relax for a while. Prepare for the evening’s activities. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic also known as Glorious Tooth Temple. It is a Buddhist temple that houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha and participates in cultural traditional dance.

Day 3

After breakfast, you should check out, and our representative will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Nuwara Eliya. It is a beautiful hill village known as Little England is a 3–4hour drive from Kandy. On the way, stop for lunch and visit the Ceylon tea plantation garden and factory to see how Ceylon tea is made. You can also have a cup of tea. Explore the Royal Botanic Garden.

On arrival at Nuwara Eliya, check in to the hotel, relax for a bit, and get ready for the evening’s activities. Visit Sita Amman Kovil- a Hindu temple/ the place where Sita Mata spent her days in the prison of Ravan and Gayathri Peedam also known as “Sri-Lankatheeswarar Temple”, the first temple dedicated for Goddess Gayatri.

Day 4

After breakfast, you should check out, and our representative will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Yala. The drive from Nuwara Eliya takes 4–5 hours. On the way, we will stop in Ella to see the nine-arched bridge. It is a viaduct bridge also called the “Bridge in the sky”. and then explore the Ravana Fall- the widest falls of Sri Lanka (82ft).

Check into your hotel. Enjoy your lunch and take a short break. Prepare for the evening’s activities. We’ll continue on our way to Yala’s wild adventure. You will visit the Yala Wildlife Park- the second largest National Park of Sri Lanka and go on a jungle safari, where you will see elephants, leopards, peacocks, deer, jackals, and other wildlife.

Day 5

In the morning, pay a visit to Kataragama Temple. It is a religious site/temple dedicated to Buddhist guardian deity “Kataragama Deviyo” and Hindu war God “Murugan”.  Drive to Koggala Beach and see the Koggala’s Stilt Fisherman actions. After that, have breakfast at the hotel, check out and our representative will pick you up and drive you to Bentota. The route takes 5–6 hours. On the way, eat your lunch. On the way, stop by the Dutch fort in Galle, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check-in at the hotel and relax for the day.

Day 6

Today, after breakfast, we will travel to Bentota Beach. Today is a fun and exciting day. We’ll spend the entire day doing water activities. Surfing, boat rides, jet skis, and other activities are available. There’s a lot more to it. You will do all of your water sports first thing in the morning. You can also relax with fish therapy. After that, enjoy your lunch before returning to the hotel to relax for a while. Visit the Turtle Farm in the evening.

Day 7

After breakfast, you should check out, and our representative will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Colombo. The drive from Bentota to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital city, takes about 2-3 hours. Enjoy lunch after visiting the Kelaniya Temple- the most sought-after historic Buddhist temple of Colombo. Check into the hotel, take a short break, and then head out to do some shopping. It’s your city tour and shopping day, so enjoy, your own.

Day 8

The 7-day journey has concluded. Today is your last day in Sri Lanka. Our representative will have a short discussion on the trip and take your feedback after a hearty breakfast. Following this session, he will drive you to the airport in our private transportation 3 hours before your trip.
