Day 1

On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you there, take you to the hotel, and assist you with the check-in procedure. Check-in to hotel and have some rest to feel fresh. In the evening, visit Pashupatinath Temple for Darshan and evening aarati. Overnight is at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Post breakfast, fly from Kathmandu to Janakpur. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. Following the short rest, visit to the Janaki Mandir, a beautiful Hindu shrine devoted to the Goddess Sita. The temple’s unique design and brilliant colors make it an ideal setting for your first photographic ventures. Capture the spiritual atmosphere and the distinct blend of Mithila and Hindu creativity.

After exploring the Janaki Mandir, head into Janakpur’s heart to experience the rich world of Mithila arts. Visit local artists’ studios and see how Madhubani paintings, a traditional kind of folk art that originated in this region, are created. Engage with the artists, learn about the story behind each painting, and use your camera to capture the essence of Mithila art. Overnight is in Janakpur.

Day 3

Get up early to see a breathtaking dawn at Ganga Sagar, a sacred pond surrounded by temples and ghats. The soft morning light and reflection in the water create a fantastic opportunity for tranquil and evocative images. Capture the serenity and spirituality of this historic place.

In the afternoon, learn about Janakpur’s history by visiting attractions like the Ram Mandir and the Raja Janak Palace. Concentrate on capturing the intricate carvings, textures, and cultural value that these structures hold. Overnight is in Janakpur.

Day 4

After lunch, fly from Janakpur to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. Take some rest and feel fresh. Then visit Swayambhunath Stupa for capturing the sunset view from the top hill. Overnight is in Kathmandu.

Day 5

Morning: Khokana’s Cultural Charm

Begin your day in the picturesque village of Khokana. This community is well-known for its traditional Newari architecture and way of life, and it provides several picture opportunities. Begin your journey to the Rudrayani Temple, an ancient pagoda-style temple with beautiful decorations. Capture the early sun’s warm glow casting a play of light and shadow on the temple’s front.

 

 

Midday: Cultural Exploration and Culinary Delights

Explore the cultural nuances of Khokana throughout the day. Interact with the locals and photograph their warm smiles and daily rituals. Look for vibrant textiles, intricate woodwork, and the vibrant colors that define Newari culture.

Lunch can be had at one of Khokana’s traditional eateries, where you can sample local Newari cuisine. Photograph the dish presentation, food textures, and the lively atmosphere of the dining experience. This culinary adventure adds a sensory layer to your photographic journey.

Afternoon: Kirtipur’s Historical Ambiance

Head to Kirtipur in the afternoon, a historical town perched on a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. Visit Kirtipur Durbar Square, where you can capture the ancient architecture and stories embedded in the stone structures. The square also provides a panoramic view of the surrounding valley, providing a unique perspective for your photographs.

Wander through Kirtipur’s narrow streets, passing ancient temples and stupas at every turn. The Bagh Bhairab Temple, with its tiger-headed deity, is a religious and historical must-see. Capture the intricate details of the temple’s artwork as well as the spiritual ambiance that pervades the space.

Evening: Sunset Over Kathmandu Valley

Finish your day by visiting the Kirtipur View Tower. Photograph the changing hues of the Kathmandu Valley bathed in the warm colors of sunset as the sun begins to set.

Drive back to hotel for overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 6

Post breakfast, drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan enjoying the views of lush green forests and the free flowing Trishuli river. You will be stopped on the way to have lunch. Then continue the journey to Chitwan. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and have rest. In the evening, experience the vibrant Tharu cultural dance. The Tharu people are indigenous to the Terai region of Nepal, and their traditional dance is a captivating display of rhythm, color, and tradition. Enjoy the rhythmic beats and energetic performances that showcase the cultural richness of the Tharu community. After the cultural show, savor a delectable dinner and relax under the starlit sky. Overnight is in Chitwan.

Day 7

Start your day with a hearty breakfast as you gear up for an exciting jungle safari in Chitwan National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides, venture into the heart of the park on elephant back or in a Jeep, depending on your preference. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, and other exotic wildlife. The park is a haven for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts, offering a unique opportunity to witness the diverse flora and fauna of the region. Overnight is in Chitwan.

Day 8

Post breakfast, drive from Chitwan to Lumbini. You can stop along the way for lunch and capturing the amazing landscapes. Upon arrival, check-in to hotel and have some rest. In the evening, hang around the streets of Lumbini and enjoy the local street foods. Overnight is in Lumbini.

Day 9

Begin your day with a visit to the Maya Devi Temple, which is believed to be the exact location where Lord Buddha was born. The soft morning light creates a tranquil atmosphere that is ideal for capturing the spiritual energy of this holy site. The ancient architecture and tranquil surroundings of the temple provide a unique backdrop for your first set of photographs.

Continue on to the nearby Ashoka Pillar, which was built by the Indian Emperor Ashoka in 249 BCE to commemorate Buddha’s birth. The pillar’s weathered surface and the surrounding gardens have a rustic charm that photographers will appreciate.

In the afternoon, visit to the Lumbini Museum to learn about the history and significance of Lumbini. The museum houses a collection of Buddha-related artifacts, sculptures, and historical exhibits. Capture the artifacts’ intricate details as well as the cultural heritage they represent.

Next, visit the Monastic Zone, which features monasteries built in various architectural styles by different countries. The variety of designs and cultural elements creates a vibrant tapestry for photographers. Each monastery’s architecture, sculptures, and artwork tell a story.

Wrap your day by visiting the World Peace Pagoda, which is located near the Lumbini Crane Sanctuary. The pagoda, with its white dome and golden pinnacle, provides a spectacular sunset view. Photographers are drawn to the changing colors of the sky and the silhouette of the pagoda. As the sun sets behind this iconic monument, capture the essence of peace and spirituality.

Day 10

Post breakfast, drive from Lumbini to Palpa. You will be stopped on the way to have lunch. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and have rest to feel fresh. Overnight is in Palpa.

Day 11

Set your alarm early for an unforgettable sunrise at Rani Mahal, a hidden gem on the banks of the Kali Gandaki River. The soft morning light bathes the palace , creating a mesmerizing scene for your lens. After breakfast, explore the ancient town of Tansen, where every corner tells a story of its rich history. Capture the intricate woodwork of Tansen Durbar and the vibrant life at the local markets. In the afternoon, venture to the serene Ranighat, a river-side location perfect for capturing the interplay of light and shadow. Overnight is in Palpa.

Day 12

Post breakfast, drive from Palpa to Pokhara. You can stop along the way for lunch and photography. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and take rest to feel fresh. In the evening, you can hang around the vibrant streets of Lakeside to enjoy night life. Overnight is in Pokhara.

Day 13

Start your day early by taking in Sarangkot‘s iconic sunrise view. A photographer’s dream, the panoramic view of the Annapurna Range bathed in morning light. The mountains come alive with pink and gold tones as the sun rises, producing an amazing sight.

After capturing the sunrise, head to Phewa Lake for some serene shots. The calm waters, surrounded by the reflection of the Machhapuchhare peak, provide an excellent opportunity for reflection photography.

Next, make your way to the World Peace Pagoda, located on a hill overlooking the city. The pagoda not only offers stunning views of the Annapurna Range but also presents architectural beauty against the backdrop of the Himalayas. Capture the intricate details of the pagoda and the play of light and shadow on the surrounding landscape.

Then drive back to the hotel to have overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 14

Post breakfast, drive Pokhara to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and have some rest. In the evening, go to the Ason Bazar for shopping and enjoy the night view of the brightest streets. Overnight is in Kathmandu.

Day 15

Morning in Bhaktapur

Start your day in Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved medieval architecture. Navigate through the narrow alleyways of Bhaktapur Durbar Square as the sun bathes the red-bricked structures in a warm glow. Capture the intricate details of the wood-carved windows and doorways, as well as the traditional Newari architecture that transports you back in time. With its ancient temples, courtyards, and the iconic 55-Window Palace, the Durbar Square is a photographer’s dream.

Midday Exploration

As the morning progresses, make your way to Nyatapola Temple, one of Nepal’s tallest pagoda-style temples. Wander through Potter’s Square, where skilled artisans use traditional techniques to shape clay into pottery. This area’s interplay of light and shadow offers excellent opportunities for capturing candid moments of craftsmanship.

Afternoon in Boudhanath

In the afternoon, drive to Boudhanath, a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. The massive stupa, surrounded by monasteries and adorned with prayer flags, serves as a focal point for devotees and photographers alike. Explore the vibrant atmosphere of Boudhanath Stupa by photographing the spinning prayer wheels, fluttering prayer flags, and serene expressions of pilgrims engaged in their devotions.

In the evening, drive back to hotel to have overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 16

Post breakfast, drive to the Tribhuwan International Airport for final departure. Take the wonderful memories and photography with you.
