Bardia National Park Tour gives you the experience of its natural beauty filled with natures beautiful flora and fauna. Bardia National Park was established in 1988. It covers an area of 968 km2 (374 sq mi). Bardia National Park is the largest and most undisturbed wildlife conservated area in Nepal’s Terai. It consists of unspoiled nature, rare animals, authentic Tharu culture and little adventures never fail to amaze you. Unlike Chitwan National Park, Bardia is yet to commercialize. Choose Bardia National Park Tour and venture into the forest or canoe down the river, you will hardly spot another human.
Flora and Fauna
The Bardia National Park Tour offers a variety of experiences in its large undisturbed wilderness. This park is a home for lots of endangered animals such as the Royal Bengal tiger, wild elephant, Greater one-horned rhinoceros, swamp deer, and black buck.
Other endangered species are gharial-crocodile, marsh mugger and Gangetic dolphin. Endangered birds found in the park are Bengal florican, lesser florican and sarus crane.
Here more than 30 different mammals are residing. The park has over 230 species of birds and several species of snakes, lizard and fish. Moreover to the resident species, several migratory birds visit the park.
Current checklists include 407 bird species, among them the Bengal florican, white-rumped vulture, peafowl, and bar-headed geese, which are symbolic of the park.
Day To Day Itinerary

Day 1
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft).
Welcome in airport by our representative at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) outside the terminal hall.Then we move to Hotel. Afternoon, trip briefing and final preparation. Stroll around colourful market Thamel.
Day 2
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu.
After having breakfast, we proceed for exploring the cultural and political hub of Nepal, Kathmandu valley. Initiating from Patan Durbar Square-City of fine arts to the Kathmandu Durbar square in the morning. You will visit the Shikhara Style Krishna Mandir, Kumbheshwor Temple, Golden Temple Living Goddess Kumari and more. Pashupatinath Hindu temple and open crematory, world’s largest magnificent Boudhanath stupa then to the Swoyambhunath stupa-one of the oldest religious site on hilltop also refer to as Monkey temple.
Day 3
Day 03: Fly to Nepalgunj, drive to Bardia National Park (300m/1000ft): 1-hour flight; 90km, 2 hours drive.
Flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj takes an hour. From Nepalgunj airport, we will transfer you to Thakurdwara. Is is a beautiful village at the entry point of the Bardia national park. We drive for around two hours from Nepalgunj to reach this entry point to the National Park.
Day 4
Day 04: Bardia National Park.
You will go for a full day jungle walk into the national park and track wild animals. Our experienced guides will guide you through the forest. Our crew will ensure your safety. You will carry a lunch pack from the resort in the morning. You may spot a tiger, rhino or other animals.
Day 5
Day 05: Bardia National Park.
You will go on a jeep safari, deep into the national park. You will carry a lunch pack with you and stop at viewing spots, rivers and riverside to wait and watch wild animals. Depending on your preference, you can customize with other activities to do inside the National Park.
Day 6
Day 06: Drive to Nepalgunj, fly to Kathmandu.
The next day, we will return to Nepalgunj by an around 2 hours ride and take a flight back to Kathmandu.
Day 7
Day 07: Final departure.
After morning breakfast we check out of the Hotel and transfer you to the Airport.
