Trip Introduction

Chisapani Hiking is the perfect blend of nature and culture. It is a small hill station on the periphery of Kathmandu. Chisapani is the Nepali word for cold water. It is 1,202m/3,943ft above sea level. It is 17.2 kilometers away. It is located in Shivapuri National Park and serves as a gateway to the Langtang-Gosainkunda trekking region. It provides breathtaking views of lush green hills, deep valleys, and snow-capped mountain peaks. You get a spectacular view of Mt. Everest, Gaurishankar, Langtang Lirung, and Dorje Lakpa ranges, Ganesh Himal as well as a distant view of Mt. Everest.

You will drive to Sundarijal, the hike’s starting point. A road trip takes between 30 and 45 minutes. When you arrive at Sundarijal, you will begin your hike. The path winds through the small houses and people. You will gradually ascend the hill. On the way, you will see a waterfall. After passing through a checkpoint, you will proceed to the homes of the Tamang and Newar people. You will come across Mulkhara, which is a perfect blend of different ethnic groups. It is the final community on the way to Chisapani. The trail from there to Burlang Bhanjyang is peaceful, passing through dense forest. Continue walking toward Chisapani.
