Trip Introduction
Damodar – Kunda is located in Nepal’s Upper Mustang region, at the foot of the Himalayas. Damodar Kunda is located at an elevation of 22,000 feet in western Nepal’s remote Himalayan district of Mustang. The Tibetan plateau and Damodar Himal to the north, and the Annapurna Himalayan mass to the south, are clearly visible. Damodar Kunda is Lord Vishnu’s Head, and Muktinath is his Mouth, according to Hindu mythology. The lake is mentioned in the holy book Barah Puran because it is believed that Lord Krishna has said that those who visit Damodar Kunda and take a dip bath are free from all their sins. The best season to visit Damodar Kunda is Jan-May and sept-Dec.

If you are traveling by flight, on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you there, take you to the hotel, and assist you with the check-in procedure. Depending on your flight time we can customize this day’s activities.
Day 2
Fly from Kathmandu to Damodar Kunda
- 7:00 am– Departure from hotel: – Today early in the Morning after enjoying breakfast, you will leave for Domestic Airport.
- 7:15 am– Fly to Damodar Kunda and Darshan/Puja: – You’ll acquire your boarding card and go through airport security once you reach the airport. After the airport officer has given you instructions and shared important information, you will board the helicopter. You’ll see a spectacular view of numerous high Annapurna peaks, the deepest Kali Gandaki gorge, Jomsom, Kagbeni. On arrival, worship and perform the Rituals at the Kunda.
- 8:30 am -Fly from Damador Kunda to Kathmandu: – You will fly back to Kathmandu airport above the mountains, taking in the magnificent view of mountain peaks. After some time, you will arrive at Kathmandu Airport. You will then ride back to the hotel. You can either stroll around the Thamel or customize your itinerary.
Day 3
Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. If you are traveling by flight, our representative will drop you off at the airport 3hrs before your flight’s scheduled departure time.
