Trip Introduction
Dhampus Peak(6012m) climbing, also known as Thapa peak is situated in the Dhaulagiri region the northern side of the wildest(Hidden) valley of Nepal along with Kaligandaki River flow its bottom. The overwhelming elevation differences between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges make Dhampus Peak a very exposed spot to observe the scenery from. Having Tukuche Peak (6920m) and Dhaulagiri (8167m) spectacularly near you enjoy the feeling of being part of the extreme altitudes of the Himalayas. It is an interesting peak for climbers in the North-East of the big Dhaulagiri massif. It is an easy trekking peak to ascent for climbers.
Dhampus Peak climbing is an excellent option for anyone with moderate mountaineering experience. It is a challenging trekking peak due to its elevation, but the technical mountaineering skills requirement is very basic.
