The Kathmandu Pokhara Annapurna Trek is a popular and scenic trek that takes visitors through some of Nepal’s most beautiful and diverse regions. The trek starts with an arrival in Kathmandu, where visitors will have the opportunity to explore the city’s rich history and culture.
On Day 2, the trek begins with a drive to Pokhara, a city known for its natural beauty and outdoor activities. From Pokhara, the trek continues to Nayapul, and then on to Tikhedhunga, where visitors will start to experience the natural beauty of the Annapurna Region.
Day 3 to 5, the trek continues to Ghorepani and Poonhill, which offers a panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, and other peaks. From Poonhill, the trek then moves on to Tadapani, and then to Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village, which offers a glimpse into the local culture and lifestyle.
On Day 7, the trek ends in Ghandruk and visitors will return to Pokhara for a day of sightseeing, taking in the beautiful lakes and temples of the city. On Day 8, the journey ends with a drive back to Kathmandu for a final day of sightseeing and shopping before departure on Day 10.

Kathmandu Arrival
- Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
- Check-in to hotel and rest for a while
- Meet with the tour guide and brief about the itinerary

Day 2
Kathmandu to Pokhara drive
- After breakfast, drive to Pokhara
- The drive takes around 6-7 hours
- Check-in to hotel and rest
- In the evening, take a stroll around the city and enjoy the views of the Fewa Lake
- Overnight stay in Pokhara
Day 3
Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga
- After breakfast, drive to Nayapul
- From Nayapul, begin the trek to Tikhedhunga
- The trek takes around 4-5 hours
- The trail passes through terraced fields and small villages
- Overnight stay in Tikhedhunga
Day 4
Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
- After breakfast, trek to Ghorepani
- The trek takes around 6-7 hours
- The trail passes through rhododendron and oak forests and offers views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri peaks
- Overnight stay in Ghorepani
Day 5
Poonhill to Tadapani
- Wake up early and hike to Poonhill for the sunrise view over the Himalayas
- Return to Ghorepani for breakfast
- After breakfast, trek to Tadapani
- The trek takes around 6-7 hours
- The trail passes through rhododendron and oak forests and offers views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri peaks
- Overnight stay in Tadapani
Day 6
Tadapani to Ghandruk
- After breakfast, trek to Ghandruk
- The trek takes around 5-6 hours
- The trail passes through rhododendron and oak forests and offers views of the Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Fishtail peaks
- Ghandruk is a traditional Gurung village and offers an insight into the local culture
- Overnight stay in Ghandruk
Day 7
Ghandruk to Pokhara and Pokhara Sightseeing
- After breakfast, trek back to Nayapul
- From Nayapul, drive back to Pokhara
- Check-in to hotel and rest
- In the afternoon, go for a sightseeing tour of Pokhara and visit the Fewa Lake, the World Peace Pagoda, and the Bindabasini Temple
- Overnight stay in Pokhara
Day 8
Drive back to Kathmandu
- After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu
- The drive takes around 6-7 hours
- Check-in to hotel and rest
- Overnight stay in Kathmandu
Day 9
Kathmandu Sightseeing
- After breakfast, go for a guided tour of the historic city centre
- Visit the famous Swayambhunath Temple (also known as the Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa
- In the evening, explore the local markets and shops for souvenirs and handicrafts
- Overnight stay in Kathmandu
Day 10
Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey
