Kathmandu paragliding is a recreational and competitive adventure sport. Paragliding adventures is gaining its popularity in recent days. Paragliding in Kathmandu was started in 2013. The paragliding adventure takes place in Chapakharka while in near Phulchoki and Lakuri Bhanjyang. The paragliding adventure offers a magnificent view of beautiful mountains, natural sceneries, bird-eye view of Kathmandu along with other attractions around Kathmandu. As you fly over the beautiful hills you will share the airspace with Himalayan Griffon vultures and Eagles.

The adventure is carried out by trained and expert pilots. You may choose solo and tandem flight to experience the paragliding from the hilltop of Chapakharka.

Day 01: Drive to Phulchoki & enjoy paragliding

Arrival from Hotel by private car or Jeep to ‘Chapakharka’, is the beautiful Take Off place which is at the height of 2100m from the sea level. Once you take off you’ll have an experience of being like a bird and the feeling of freedom that you’ve never felt before and enjoyed the view as from the eye of a bird. Our Landing zone at Rasantar.
