Tibet is a Chinese autonomous territory located on the high Tibetan plateau, on the northern edge of the Himalayan Mountain range. Because of its towering peaks, it is known as the “Roof of the World.” Lhasa is the capital of Tibet. On a snowy plateau, it is a one-of-a-kind and spiritual city. It is also known as the City of Sunlight because it receives far more sunlight than the majority of the rest of the world.

Lhasa, the holy land of Tibetan Buddhism, is home to a diverse collection of well-preserved Buddhist structures, the vast majority of which are Mysterious Palaces and Monasteries.
