Muktinath Temple trek via Jomsom is very fascinating and adventurous trek allowing you to explore Mustang district of Nepal. Muktinath Temple is situated at an altitude of 3710m at the base of the Thorong La mountain pass in Muktinath Valley of Mustang District. It is a sacred place of Hindu, as well as Buddhist. This place is also called as Mukti Kshetra, which means “the place of liberation” in Hinduism. There are 108 holy taps and it is believed that one who will bath in this 108 holy taps will open door to heaven washing of all sins of their lifetime. External as well as internal tourism for this place is more or less same due to its religious value. This classic trek will allow one to analyze the awesome diversified Annapurna region along the world’s deepest gorge Kali Gandaki.
