Starts with short drive to reach north east of Kathmandu city and valley rim with climb for few hours past farm villages and forested to Chisapani a scenic and highest spot of the treks, enjoying views of sunrise over Himalayan peaks, where walk leads to ups and downhill to reach another lovely scenic place at Nagarkot, famous hill town for excellent views of sunrise and sunsets over range of mountains.

Enjoying time at Nagarkot last day walk takes you on scenic path to reach at beautiful hill town of Dhulikhel one of the oldest town inhabited with local Newar tribe having great interesting culture and custom, at Dhulikhel enjoy fabulous panorama of high Central Himalayan peaks with sunrise and then head back to Kathmandu, after a great marvelous experience on Kathmandu valley scenic hill trekking. 

Best time and season for Kathmandu Valley Scenic Hill Trekking

Nearly all months of the year except wet monsoon months of mid June to August, best time for
this short trek on the hills of Kathmandu valley rim as well for other Himalayan destinations, in spring season from March to May and in autumn / falls times of September till early December months.

March to May where days are warm with enough day lights cold in the morning and late afternoon till night times.

An enjoyable time in spring when wild flowers are in full bloom especially rhododendron of various species from tall trees to bush with magnolia and other beautiful flowers that makes a natural garden around high green hills.

September to early December months best time with clear fine days for views and pleasant walks but short sun-light hours due to autumn and winter season, much colder morning till night times can expect snow sometimes during walks on high area of Chisapani and Nagarkot.

Day 01: On arrival at Kathmandu airport 1,340 m meet our staff and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: At Kathmandu with options for tour with time for trek preparations. 

Day 03: Short drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani 2,230 m-4 hrs walks. 

Day 04: Trek to Nagarkot Hill at 2,100 m high – 05 hrs.

Day 05: Trek to Dhulikhel Hill town 1,540 m – 06 hrs.

Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel -07 hrs.

Day 07: International departure for home ward bound.
