Sundarijal Hiking

Trip Introduction

Sundarijl originally comes from the Hindu Goddess Sundarimai. It is located 15 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu. Canyoning and canyoneering are popular activities here. It is situated at an elevation of 2,732m/8,963ft. It has a diverse range of vegetation, including pine, oak, and rhododendron, as well as wildlife, including the Himalayan black bear, leopard, jungle cat, and rhesus monkey.

You will drive to Budhanilkantha, the starting point of the hike. The journey on a road takes between 30 and 45 minutes. You will begin your hike when you arrive at Budhanilkantha. You will climb the hill and be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Kathmandu Valley. After the steep hills and the Climb, you’ll arrive at the Nang Kyi Gumba. You’ll continue on our way to Sundarijal. You will walk through the forest and past the waterfall. After arriving at Sundarijal, have a dry picnic and then descend. Return to Hotel.
